Kindergarten Class 2024-2025

 

Welcome to our class website! My name is Becky Mottaz. This is my 24th year teaching, and my 13th year at Rowlett. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree from USF (Go Bulls), and my Master's Degree from Saint Leo University. I feel so blessed to be a part of this amazing school. Most of my teaching experience has been in the primary grades, with the majority of that in kindergarten and first grade. Kindergarten holds a special place in my heart! This year is going to be filled with great exploration, discovery, and learning. Through the use of CKLA and the Florida Common Core Standards, we will integrate reading, writing, science and social studies throughout our engaging units. Rowlett's theme this year is "A Legacy of Leadership". We will utilize our Leader in Me, and 7 Habits curriculum, in conjunction with the standards, to help each child reach their full potential as LEADERS. 

 

All About Me!

I was born in New York and moved to Anna Maria Island when I was 10. I currently live in Parrish with my husband Anthony and our boys Scott and Drew. We are also the parents of a very spoiled French Bulldog named Charlie Mae, and 3 cats. When I am not working I love to go to the beach, read, and shop! I am a huge Harry Potter fan!
