Rowlett Opening and Important Information

Hello REA Families,

We are thrilled to be officially re-opening tomorrow, Tuesday, October 4th.

Rowlie's Nest, Bus Services, and Enrichments will all be available as usual. Stay tuned for individual enrichment cancellations, if necessary.

If your family continues to be adversely affected by the Hurricane, we will excuse absences on Tuesday, October 4th. Should you require additional assistance/flexibility, please communicate with us directly.

Donuts for Grown-Ups events will be held this week! We are simply shifting the dates back a week to tomorrow, 10/4, Wednesday, 10/5, and Thursday, 10/6, so please come on the day you had registered for (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday). If you need to shift dates, please let the office know so we may plan accordingly.

Assigned Days by Student Last Name:
  • Tuesday: E-K
  • Wednesday: L-R
  • Thursday: S-Z
As a courtesy to our staff members, guests should park in the Building 6 lot, behind the playground but must leave by 8:30 AM. The event will be hosted in the REA Cafeteria... there will be two lines and you may enter through the Flynn Hall Doors or the Cafeteria Doors.

Our Kids Bank Grand Openings will proceed as scheduled: Kid's Bank WILL be open to customers on Tuesday morning, October 4th, and Thursday morning, October 6th, for our Grand Openings from 7:50-8:40 AM.

We will be extending our Otis Spunkmeyer Fundraiser as we know many of you were unable to "sell" over the last week or so. Our sale will be extended for at least a week... an exact date will be announced soon. We will also begin passing out the "Pork Chop Posse" items soon for those who are eligible.

DEAL Time will proceed as planned on Wednesday. Leadership Shirts welcome!

Student-Led Conference Week will still be held next week as planned. Please schedule your conference with your child’s teacher.

The Yearbook "Early Bird" Sale was extended until Friday, 10/7 - https://www.rowlettacademy.org/yearbook/

We know that many of you are still dealing with damage and power outages. Our staff will be flexible with you. Please communicate any issues or needs to your teachers and/or the school office. Our thoughts continue to be with all those impacted by Hurricane Ian.
